Shoes I Love for Fall

As a self-proclaimed autumn enthusiast, I have to admit that nothing quite beats the snap of chilly air, the aroma of pumpkin spice everything, and the endless outfit opportunities that come with the season. If you're looking to jazz up your wardrobe with minimal effort, then sprucing up your shoe game is the way to go! And, let me tell you, Ugg's latest lineup has me feeling like a kid in a candy store. Not gonna lie, I've already added four pairs to my wishlist (okay, fine, I could have gone all Ugg, all the time). So, without further ado, here are my top picks for the season, guaranteed to keep me stylin' and cozy for years to come!

Frye is such a classsic shoe company it's no wonder they have been around since 1863. The quality

of their boots is just top tier and these Frye Harness 8R are no exception. The leather is top quality and just gets softer and seems to mold to your feet as you wear them. At $458 these boots are the mostexpensive on the list, but the style is timeless and you will be able to reach for them year after year.

When I envisioned my Fall activities like going to grab a PSL, the yarn store and the apple festival I saw myself in cozy, warm shoes with a wide-leg sweatsuit or jeans and a fuzzy sweater. When I saw the fuzzy teddy bear like texture of there Uggs I knew I had to have them. I am really feeling platforms and you can’t beat the slipper like feel of the Tazz. I am normally a 8.5. I went with an 8 in these (I usually size down in Uggs) but I think a 9 would have worked too with fluffy socks.

On Wednesdays we wear pink. Where they do that at because I am obsessed with pink and have to literally stop myself from wearing it daily. I love the light pink color on these because they wear like a neutral. If you don’t wear a lot of color the perfect place to add some color is with your footwear. New Balance are so comfortable and the platform just adds that extra oomph that a bougie girl loves.

When I showed these to my niece she said “it’s giving Holland.” And yes, they are giving Holland in the best possible way though. They are so comfortable and warm. I got them in red, but they also come in black and chestnut. Red is the color of the season and it is another one of my favorite colors so I had to go with the ‘cherry pie” in these.

When I saw these shoes I audible gasped. There are three things I loved at first sight about these shoes, the black and white coloring, the buckled back, and you guessed it, the platform. Then I got the shoes and there was one more thing to love about them, they are comfortable right out of the box with a soft leather inside that felt great with no socks. I think I’d wear these almost year round because you can add socks in the fall and winter and go sock-less on warmer days.

Those cables tho! As a knitter I saw these and in addition to wanting to make a sweater with that cable pattern I also wanted to get them immediately! I Remember the classic cardy Uggs from back in the day? I used to love those and I think the Sweater Letter tall are the perfect updated version of them. I am a thick girl and these are definitely wide calf friendly. But they would also work well if you have tiny calves because the top is stretchy and hug your calves. It was finally chilly enough to wear these here in Maryland this weekend and I am in love. They are so warm and cozy I am definitely going to get my money’s worth out of these. These also come in black.

Unlike most Uggs these clogs don’t have a sheepskin lining, but that takes nothing away from the comfort and coziness of the Goldenstar clog. They are like Birkenstock Boston and Crocs had a baby. A cute, adorable Australian baby. the back strap can also be moved to the front just like Crocs. They come in chestnut and black. These are another pair that I think will be highly comfortable and reached for day after day.

Sandals on a Fall shoe list? I have three words, SOCKS AND SANDALS! Yeah, why not? These sandals are sherpa lined unlike the usual Rule Breakers so I think that makes them the perfect transition shoe into Fall. So far I have wore them with jeans and a dress and they added so much flair to both outfits. These are a high 2.5" flatform that some reviewers have found hard to walk in. I am pretty clumsy and I nicknamed them the ankle breakers, but I really haven’t had any issues with them.

Fall is the perfect season to experiment with different shoe styles and add a touch of personality to your outfits. From ankle boots to sneakers, there are countless options to choose from. While I picked out some of my favorites, I would love to hear about your go-to styles as well. Are you a fan of classic pumps, or do you prefer trendy platform sandals? Maybe you love a good pair of loafers for the office, or you can't resist a comfortable pair of sneakers for running errands. Whatever your preference, don't be afraid to mix and match styles to create a unique and fashion-forward look this season. With so many options available, the possibilities are endless!

XOXO

Your Favorite Bougie Girl,

Erica
